ReMerge2BG gathered BAUHAUS4EU Alliance members at UACEG for a week

The University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Sofia, hosted from 15-19 April 2024 a workshop of the European University Alliance BAUHAUS4EU.

Representatives of the universities, members of the Alliance, academic and administrative staff, PhD students, participated in seminars dedicated to future joint activities and international mobility.


The work sessions focused on the creation of a joint digital platform, joint exchange formats for staff and students and many other opportunities for multilateral cooperation.


In addition to the fruitful work sessions related to academic and research topics, the participants successfully passed the first intensive course in Bulgarian language, Bulgarian culture and traditions as well as Bulgarian folk dances.

The gala dinner in their honor was also shared with H.E. Mrs. Zakia El Midaoui, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Bulgaria, H.E. Mr. Joël Meyer, Ambassador of France to Bulgaria, as well as Mr. Andrzej Krężel, First Counsellor of Polish Embassy, Prof. Gaetano Scurria, Italian lector at the New Bulgarian univeristy, sent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Sofia Saraiva, Portuguese Lecturer of Camões, I.P. at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and Director of Camões - Portuguese Language Center in Sofia and Mr. Arnaud Baubérot, Attaché de coopération scientifique et universitaire, French Embassy in Bulgaria.


The whole week was organized as a Blended Intensive Programm (BIP) and co-funded by Erasmus+.
