Jhe discipline aims to introduce the basic principles of life and security, and environmental and estate protection from disasters and accidents. Questions, well as others, considering functioning of the rescuing system are concerned. Principles of preventive activity and opportunities for combining the laws and sub legislative act, concerning different sectors of the social base are pointed out. Closer relationship between theory and practice is to be established.

Practical & Field Training
The training comprises study visits to building sites and completed projects where the students observe various methods of construction and get some practical site management experience.
Real Estate
Students are acquainted with the basic technical and economic characteristics of the real estate market in Bulgaria. The real estates' location and qualities are considered. Students acquire skills for transactions with real estates and the obligations of contractual parties as well as about the methods of real estate valuation and their market applications. Special attention is paid to possible options for financing of real estate transactions.
Regional and Urban Economics
The module’s aim is to bridge between regional and urban development and economic development theories. Knowledge is obtained of the main principles and rules of economic development as well as abilities to carry out economic analysis and define priority problems. Attitude is shaped towards land and property and their effective use.
Water Economy
This discipline is aimed at preparing students to work more efficiently under market economy conditions. It covers the basic macroeconomic issues related to company behaviour in various market environments. Methods of economic assessment of investments and investment projects are being analysed. Special accent is put on problems related to pricing and valuation of construction projects. Some issues related to construction company management are considered.
