Design of Reinforced Concrete Structures according to Eurocode 2

The aim of the discipline is that the basics for the calculation and detailing of the main RC elements of buildings, after the European standard Eurocode 2 should be introduced to the students. This standard is to be introduced as obligatory for structural design in all EU member states. Within the course there will be studied the models for examination of the ultimate and the serviceability limit states in the critical sections and regions of the elements and the detailing principles will be exercised on specific elements. After the end of the course of study the students will have the basic skills, necessary for the contemporary design of RC constructions.
