Anti-Corrosion and Fire-Resistant Systems in Buildings and Structures

This subject allows students to be acquainted with the regulations for and the contemporary systems of the anti-corrosion (AC) and the fire-resistant (FR) protection of buildings and structures. This is a quite up-to-date issue in the country given the more strict requirements in the field ensuing from the necessity of harmonization of the regulations with the respective ones adopted in EU. Besides, the AC and FR systems in existing buildings need serious observation and rehabilitation in order to secure the safety and health of people, property and environment protection as well as to reduce the costs of maintenance.
