This subject is aimed at enhancing the knowledge of students pursuing the Master of Geotechnical Engineering degree. Additional information is provided for the mechanism of the landslide processes. The topics include: supporting structures for excavations in ground and rock (diaphragm walls, sheet piling walls, Berlin and pile walls; anchors and anchoring structures; reinforced soil walls and geotextile structures) as well as counter-slide structures.
