Reinforced Concrete Structures

The aim of the course is to give students knowledge of the calculation and detailing of different types of reinforced concrete structures of buildings depending on the number of stories, reinforcement type and type of joints (cast-in-situ or precast). Studied: cast–in–situ and prefabricated frame and wall structures for single and multi-storey buildings with common concrete; prestressed structures; floor structures; foundation types. After finishing the course students are capable to design reinforced concrete structures of buildings.
