Reinforced Concrete Bridges

Students passing successfully the exam in the discipline will have knowledge on the functional components, shaping, the specific requirements for computational checks, detailing and the technology of construction of different types of girder reinforced concrete (RC) road and railroad bridges. They will be acquainted with the basics of the design and construction of RC arched and stayed-rope bridges as well as with some specific features of the theory of RC, and the application of the prestressed RC in bridge construction.
