The course provides for basic information, brief history and specific features of hydraulic structures. It deals with structural design of hydroelectric power plants, water catchments, weirs, dams, spillways, water intake structures, water conveying structures, including for the period of construction, as well as with the principles of effective functioning of hydraulic structures.
