The "Urban Planning" lecture course aim at introducing the basic social, economic, environmental, aesthetic and legislative aspects of the spatial and urban planning, as well as the specific characteristics of the urban planning process and the role different participants play. It develops theoretical knowledge about urban and suburban environment and its major components and practical skills for analysis and assessment of those characteristics, which have a considerable impact on the property development, maintenance and management. The module creates attitude towards cultural and natural values and respect towards the other professions, participating in the process of planning.
