UACEG is the only university in Bulgaria offering Master's level education in the field of Structural Engineering. It has 5 faculties, 3800 students and 400 full-time academic staff.

The University campus is situated in the central part of Sofia. It has well-equipped laboratories and computer rooms for individual work of students. Dormitories with about 2200 beds are situated in the Student Town, some 5 km away from the campus. There are refectories both in the campus and near the dormitories.

The supervisors engaged in the Socrates program have their own design studios within the University campus area, where the most complicated projects in the country are being developed. They observe the national and European building seismic codes for 9th degree of earthquake intensity. Projects for abroad are also being developed. Master students within the Socrates program work in this studios and use Eurocode. Besides, they attend lectures on Earthquake Engineering.

Working Landuages: English, German, French and Russian.

Time for developing a Master thesis - 4 months.
