Fundamentals of Architectural Design - Project I

Two groups of coursework are made. The first one aims at developing a feeling for composition in the students. By using a series of abstract compositions the properties of forms, free from function and structure, are studied. Possibilities for shape formation are studied consecutively in two- and three-dimensional space. The second group enables students to master different graphical techniques, appropriate for representation in orthogonal projections. The means for representation of elements of the environment and the furnishing in the architectural drawing are exercised. Students select and compose fonts.
