Geometrical Basics of Perspective

Geometrical Basics of Perspective

The aim of this course is the applications of the perspective rules in photogrametry and cartography, based on the existing projective transformations. Some elements of the projective geometry are studied-harmonic ratio, collineation, homology. The basic tasks by central projection and perspective on oblique plane are considered. The opposite problem for reconstruction of an object by given photo is represented from theoretical point of view finding collineation as well as from practical point of view with specific problems. Bicentral projection and central projection of the sphere (stereograph projection) with application in geological works are also studied.
