Special Reinforced Concrete Structures

The main aim of the discipline is to provide the background for the future structural engineers, that is required for the design, calculation and detailing of the reinforced concrete structures of thin – walled spatial roof structures, cooling towers, reservoirs, water towers, tanks, radio and TV towers, high chimneys, retaining walls, pools and other engineering facilities. The features of the structural design and the execution of cast – in – place and precast ordinary or prestressed reinforced concrete structures are included. The state – of – the – art trends in the development of the special structures and engineering facilities are followed.
