Students shall be exposed to problems related to the collection of field data. The main topics are:
·Hydrographic survey work related to coastal protection work;
·Wave measurements;
·Process measurements (tetrapods and natural rock characteristics);
·Beach evolution;
·Quarry operations;
Visit to some ports in operation and under construction as well as Landslide under stabilization works.
