University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG)

The course includes the following topics: type, quantity and composition of wastewater - urban, industrial and rain water; environmental and water-related legislation; basic methods, flow sheets and facilities for mechanical, biological and advanced wastewater and sludge treatment; basic physical and chemical methods and structures for industrial wastewater treatment; research, design and construction of urban and industrial wastewater treatment plants. After the successful completion of the course, students are able to perform design projects, construction, exploitation, management and technological control of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants, as well as to perform technological management of natural water quality.
