The course presents the fundamentals of the market structures, the behaviour of companies under market conditions, as well as the market of the production factors. The essence of the investment projects is clarified, and their major economic characteristics are outlined. The basic methods of assessment of their economic efficiency are indicated as well as for assessment of alternative projects and for risk analysis. Fundamentals on pricing in the construction industry are taught and the features of the building process are described. A special emphasis is put on the economics at a construction company level.
