Students will be acquainted with the main topics related to technical and economic studies, planning and design of roads and transport structures. The following main issues are examined: load traffic, determination of routes of roads and structures and their design in plan and profile – tracing elements, earthworks, earth bed construction, roadway and road pavements, drainage and support works, maintenance and operation.
