After finishing the course students obtain theoretical knowledge and skills on the design of architectural structures, components and details of buildings, their structural, insulation and art functions, materials and ways of execution.

Students learn the interrelation between the structure, technology and architectural composition in the
synthesis of the architectural form. Basic knowledge is obtained for classical and the most widespread modern structures, components and details, which architects may need in their practice.
