The Department of Hydraulic Engineering of the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG), Sofia, Bulgaria, and the Institute for Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management at the Vienna University of Technology, Austria organize Bulgarian-Austrian Seminars since 2003. These events bring together researchers, hydraulic engineers and hydrologists, owners of facilities and representatives of the regulatory bodies for presentations and discussions of results from research and experiments. The Seminar includes plenary and poster sessions.
The 8th.Bulgarian-Austrian Seminar will be held in Sofia. The seminar will be dedicated to the Hydrological hazards and related problems. Main topics of the Seminar include (but not limited with) the following:
