Structure and Administration

The supreme governing body of the University is the General Assembly in which participate lecturers, administrative staff and students. The executive bodies of the University are the Academic Council, the Rector and the Vice Rectors (responsible for academic affairs, international co-operation and postgraduate studies, and research and design sectors respectively). The Rector's Council (including the Vice Rectors, the Deans of Faculties and several heads of administrative units) is a consultative body to the Rector.

The Rector and the members of the Academic Council are elected by the General Assembly.

In the Rector's Council participate the Rector and the Vice Rectors, the Assistant Rector, the Deans of the faculties, the Chief Accountant, the Legal Advisor, and the directors of Personnel and Computer Centre departments.

The administrative and maintenance services are supervised by the Assistant Rector.
